F4A80 - Crossing Strips - 09/02/11
Challenge today:
criss-cross different patterns/textures to enhance your background.
Wendy wants us to “cut out some paper strips and cross ‘em up!!! (Better yet??? Use up some of your strip SCRAPS!!! I KNOW you have ‘em!!). “
How does she know that I have them? Can she see into my scrapping room?
I use strips of Spellbinders borders that I cut for a different project that I could not get to work. In the meantime had all those dog gone white border strips! The green strip is from a project two years ago. I just love the frog K&C dp. I did not crisscross but added a strip cuttlebug ef border on the left.

A truly beautiful card, Angela. First, your coloring of the magnolias is gorgeous. Such depth of color. Love the layer upon layer of your "scrap" eyelet scalloped borders. The embossing of the flourishes on the dotted paper is a wonderful accent.

Fabulously coloured image and love the white layers of punched border you used.
