This is for the WT338 challenge-celebrating "Back to School" all month, and todays challenge was to use paint.
I decided to go with the Extreme Surfboard image because living in Hawaii or on the west coast means if the surfs up-you won't find to many of them in school. :o)
I painted the surfer using pearlized smooch paint with a brush applicator directly onto the image.

You really achieved a neat effect with the pearly paint applied directly to the stamp. It gives a watery appearance in your photo. I great sentiment with your image and your explanation of what happens when the "surf is up". A terrific card.
