I need a Thank You card and I also wanted to try out the quilted card technique. I started out by making my own dp with a cherry blossoms template. I used su pink passion ink to sponge my cherry blossoms on white cs. I used this as part of my quilt pattern along with some su lap of luxury dp. After I cut and glued my paper quilt together I ran it through the cb with an embossing folder. The main image was stamped on white cs with versa mark and then heat embossed with black ep. I used su pixie pink, pink passion and gable green for the tree leaves/flowers. I then sponged the sky with tempting turquoise and the ground with creamy caramel. The sentiment is from Trendy Trees which I cut out with a spellbinders label. Added flowers on either side of the label and used my su punch and concord crush for the corners along with the cherry blossoms dp I made. I also added sm sq. silver brads.
Enjoy your day and thanks for looking!

Aaaaack! Lynn, this is splendid! I used to quilt, (before paper & ink took over my heart) and I love the pattern you have used. So perfect for a thank you card- the love can be felt in this! Beautiful work my friend!

I have always loved this set. for some reason, I'm crazy about the swing in the tree and the boots. I love what you've done with your colors too. Pretty fancy card with wonderful detail.
