 | | I didn't get a chance to play in the challenges yesterday so I thought I'd try to combine with today's color challenge. Karen really gave us a good challenge! I used the embossed kisses technique using this tutorial http://rainy.blogs.splitcoaststamper...bossed-kisses/ from Susan Roberts to make the butterflies. I inked my Northern Flurry embossing folder with Cherry Cobbler ink then pressed the solid butterfly stamp onto that. The outlines are stamped in Calypso Coral. I added some More Mustard flowers for my dp. I used a marker to ink up a Cherry Cobbler butterfly on the greeting and rounded only 2 of the corners. Added a little Cherry Cobbler sponging to my "dp" and Calypso Coral to the greeting. All of this is mounted onto a card base of More Mustard which I embossed with the Framed Tulips ef. |
