I've made a few quilts in my life. This was the hardest. I'm too old for the fussy cutting of hexagons. Anyone know of a six-sided hexagon paper punch about 1/2-3/4" in size? All my cards are 5 x 7, so I have a little more room to work with.

Hi Alene! Creative Memories made a hexagonal punch years ago...made 2 different sizes with a single punch. Hope this helps. BTW, your card is awesome! Cindi

My but you are a dedicated paper artist, Alene!!! It shows in the beautiful outcome, but I do hope you can find that punch so you will keep on creating these fiddly beauties!!

What a pretty quilt. Hand cutting all those pieces was no small art project. I am with you, looks like someone would make a punch that size. Have you ever sent a request to EK Success or MS? When I wanted embossing folders, I sent a request to Cuttlebug and they were all in the next release. Also, there has to be something on a cricuit cartridge. Best of luck in finding this. I know how that can be when you want something.

I check my George cricut cartridge today. It has an octagon shape on it. You can cut 1/2 to 6" for the personal and 12" with the expression. Hope this helps you out.

I had many old quilts but my fav is one I still have, which is a 100+ yr old, summer porch Flower Garden quilt. This Flower Garden quilt card, is beautiful! Your paper choices are terrrific! I would like an octagon punch or two myself ... especially for quilt cards.

Hi, I just purchased the Hexagon punch mentioned in an earlier post. Creative Memory has two double punches and I picked up the smaller (3/4" - 1") on ebay. Great card I love the embossing. As a quilter and card maker it really got my attention.
