Hi! I made this card for today's WT challenge: versamark! Now, I use versamark on a regular basis; I even have 3 pads that I've set aside for different purposes. But it's been quite a while since I worked in pastels so I thought I'd try it again.
NOW I remember why I don't use my SU! pastels very often; I can never get the #@% case open without all of the pastels falling out!! It's been that way since I first got them, and even with a new set from SU!, they STILL don't open easily! If anyone has a suggestion that works for them, please let me know!!
Anyway, despite the difficulty of getting the case open, I enjoyed using my cleanest VM pad with chalks. I don't know if I really like this card, there's something just not quite right, but I had fun anyway.
TFL and have an easy day!!

Personally I really like the soft pastel look.
Laughing at your three pads - I try to keep one clean one and one messy one, but inevitably the clean one doesn't stay that way long enough. I've never bothered buying re-inker as I always seem to need a new pad first.

Gail, I think your card is lovely and your work with VM and pastels is wonderful. I also like the vellum embossed panel. Vellum gives such a pretty look...and is overlooked in my card-making....you inspire me.
