Thanks Roxie for the fun sketch today. I didn't think I'd be able to play today, but I needed two birthday cards in a hurry and the sketch worked perfectly! I have never been able to find any checkered flag dp and so I've been using some scraps of checkered fabric on my projects instead. It works out great as long as I make a paper border to cover up the raggedy ends.
Thanks for looking~

Darla, I really enjoyed your racing card. My husband and some of his friends are old British sports car owners, and like you, a checkered DP would be great for their cards. I love your solution to the problem. It's great how your circle looks like tire too. Into my favs. Thanks!

Awesome! Great masculine card. I love how you used the checkered fabric in place of paper. Works great! If I ever run into b/w checkered paper I'll have to let you and Sallie know so you can stock up :o) TFS
