I don't remember seeing the Tapestry tutorial before - it was listed in last week's inkling as the tutorial from the archives. I needed to de-stress last night after a conversation with my dad, so I gave it a go...
A2 base, green Bazzill, next layer is blue Bazzill punched with SU border punch. I used Broken China, Peeled Paint and Wild Honey for my background, and stamped with two Hero Arts stamps. I also border-punched this layer, and all layers have the top corners rounder.
Bird is Maya Road chipboard, coloured with distress inks and embossed with clear EP. It's perched on a Spellbinders Fancy Tags sponged with green ink and embossed with Lattice folder. I added some little punched flowers, edges sponged with pink and Stickles in the centre. Sentiment is from Lots of Thoughts, popped up on foam.
Couldn't decide whether to add little pearls along the top scalloped border, but decided not to, that layering was enough.

This is FAB, Sabrina. You've inspired me to look up that technique. So much is offered on SCS that I know I miss more than 1/2 of it. Your colors and stamping are spectacular! Love the little bird in his flowwery bower.
