I was super happy to find out Hand-Penned Holidays had been translated. It is such a gorgeous font, and I know I will get some good use out of those sentiments. I was surprised when I saw that the original is all about holidays, whereas the French isn't. Would you believe that "Happy Halloween" became "Kisses"? haha! Not a direct translation, but I'm quite happy about it because I didn't have "Bon baisers" in my collection and I think it'll be a great one to have on hand.
I wanted to add some pleating on this project and I decided to use the fact that SU! has included some fabric in the free bundle to my advantage and create a pleated border around the oval.

This is stunning Cindy! Did you stitch your ribbon on?! Fabulous detail. Love the ruffle. This card is wonderful!
Interesting factoid about the 'translation'...I know that when I see some of the sets in the French catalogue, they are prettier than in the English, and I want them! I wonder if the Spanish is something like Beso..., too.

Oh, I wish we had "kisses" in English! I refuse to buy that set because of the "Happy Halloween" in that font. It just doesn't look right to me! Too fancy or something!
