Wow - I cannot believe that it has been five weeks since I last made a card. Busy, busy summer! But now that my official vacation is finished, I hope to get back to it.
So I decided to start with a simple one layer card - yeah right! I stamped and embossed my image and added just a touch of yellow copics for the flame. I added a sentiment to the left of the image and then, yikes, the dreaded SMUDGE. Oh no!!!
On to plan B. Start with a black card base, tie a big bow and then cut out the image and pop it up! Gotta start somewhere :)

The dreaded smudge! We've all been there at one point! I think your card looks amazing even tho it's not what you had started it out to be! Beautiful bow!

KWYM about a BUSY summer! It's been hit and miss with my stamping too! Don't you just miss it terribly when you can't stamp? I DO! LOVE LOVE LOVE your BLACK and white card! LOVE that wide ribbon and perfect bow! The cake image is adorable too! Happy Stamping! :)
