The creativecrew catalog focus is the paper piercing tool. I love the delicate nature of anything pierced--the image comes to life and shows its parts so much better.
On this card, I pierced the focal image in several places and I made a template out of Elements of Style for the piercing above the focal image. It's a little busy and next time I would simplify the image slightly, but I like how it looks. The paper piercing is the only embelishment on this card.

Wow, that is very cool, using the Elements of Style to guide you as you pierced. Not sure I'd have the patience for that, but you, of course, have done an excellent job.
This is the first doily card I've seen, and I love it!
