I have to send a big Thank you to Sabrina, aka Cook22 for sending me in the right direction for doing this plaid technique with alcohol inks. Thank you Sabrina!
For the bg I used the plaid technique with alcohol inks. This is done on a metallic textured c/s, so the look IRL is neat.
The flowers are from my Dear Friend Susan in Arizona, so they were really easy(they are by Cheery Lynn), I just added a little color to the lines that are cut into the c/s with the dies.
The corner brads are very old, so I do not know who made them, sorry. Hello is stamped with Staz on ink.

Although simple, it is very elegant. Love how you do all your bkgs with the ink. But I am going to ignore my inner thinking that I want to do this also. I have enough pretty papers already to use up.

Beautiful card, Jennifer. I love the look of the muted plaid......hope this technique is in the archives here at SCS. If not, they should add it! What a wonderful backdrop for your lovely flowers. It's cute how you added your "giving" friends in the Accessories!
