 | | I've had this metal frame in my stash forever and a day. I was keeping it to use in my scrapbook but I figure there's no point holding on to it and I should just use it on a card. I used some paint to add color to the leaves on the frame and make them pop up. To do so, I added paint to the whole frame and then used a baby wipe to take off the paint on the raised parts of the frame, leaving the color only in the indented images.
The framed leaf was die-cut out of a wooden sheet using the Big Shot. To create the leaf background, I used what I call the "Craft on Kraft" technique, which is one of my favorite look. I went a step further and stamped my shape in White first before overstamping the leaf a second time over the white shadow with coloured ink. It looks really cool! |
