I made this card for no particular reason other than it's ONLY 88 degrees outside and rainy! Oh, yea, baby! It's been a miserable 93 degrees or more with a heat index of 105-110 for days now and I've had more than enough!
As you can see, I've used my current favorite embellishment again. I love the Crafty Secrets embossed frame. I think it's really vintagy. I distressed the edges of the card and the frame with distressing ink. I coated the frame edge with diamond Stickles. The word label was made by embossing the stamped image on a rectanglar piece of cardstock and then I used a paper punch on the ends for some flair.
My bird is chipboard and for the life of me I can't remember who makes it. I coated it in white Adirondack paint, then SU! Heat and Stick, diamond glitter and finally SU! crystal effects. I'm real happy with the way it came out.
The flower cluster is both paper and fabric flowers which I ran a little glitter glue around the petals edges. I tied some green seam binding in a bow and glued a vintage pearl brad where the knot would be.
Lastly, I added some half pearls, stick pins and sprayed the whole card with shimmer mist.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I sponged some Studio G pink dye onto the bg dp and the frame for a little different coloring.
Hope you like and TFL!

A very beautiful card. I love your gallery. It filled with such lovely cards and your base that you show them on goes well with your cards, where did you find it?
