When possible, I like to ask the bridal or anniversary couple what colours/flowers are part of their wedding. In this case, our friends were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. When they were married back in 1971 their colours were bright green and yellow, and of course, daisies! I hope this card brought fresh memories of that wonderful day long ago when they committed their lives to each other and to God.
It was a fun and challenging card to make, and I am so happy with the way it turned out. I wish I had the nestabilites rectangles for the cut outs - it took a few tries to get the inner rectangles cut out to the correct sizes. They are on my wish list!.
