I struggle with colors. Granted, I know what I *like*, but to sit down and match colors or contrast colors or whatever artistic people do with such grace pretty much escapes me. Voila! Stampin' Up! has a solution to that - our Color Coach. For this card, I wanted to accent the Rich Razzleberry of the first card layer. My Color Coach suggested using Early Espresso and Pretty in Pink. Definitely would NEVER have thought to use EE, but don't you just LOVE the results?? My daughter, who is 16 and my favorite crafting partner, has been making these layered flower embellishments lately using the Five Petal Punch, so I sorta stole her idea I also used the leaf stem from the Bird builder punch, the Tulip Frame embossing folder, and the Modern Label and Word Window punches. Finally, I used white craft ink to stamp an image from the Flower Fest set and Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment. I used my favorite ribbon, the Seam Binding, in Always Artichoke and some Pearl embellishments for a few finishing touches. Like I said, "Voila!"
