I wanted to try the background technique of using watercolour crayons on an acrylic block in my art journal. I coloured different colours of crayons on the block and spritzed it with water and then stamped it on the page many times until I had the effect I wanted. Then I stamped the images.
I was very happy with the way it turned out.
What do you think?

I think you have a reason to be happy with how it turned out! This looks wonderful. Love that Inspired by Nature set. You'd think I'd get tired of running over to my sister's place to borrow it and just order a set for myself! It makes such a beautiful silhouette - especially when you have such a pretty background!

Oh my word!!! What an amazing background! This beauty needs a frame. Your images sing together, and the sentiment is moving! Beautiful work!
