This is a card I did for my first card swap. It is for an Adult Female and I used a lot of different things with it.
First I placed blue cardstock over the ivory white card, then I stamped the butterfly from Drawing on Nature. I coloured with SU watercolour pencils and blended with a dry blending tool. I cut out the frame and opening in the purple and blue and pasted the white coloured butterfly in the center.
After that I stamped and coloured another butterfly and the sunflower from the set and cut them out.
I couldn't find a happy birthday that I really liked for the idea so I used Celebrate from the SU Wonderful Words. I thought that it was for women so depending on what was written on the inside they could change it from a birthday or simply to celebrate a friendship or just to simply celebrate you.
Then I tied it with gold cord, placing a butterfly card charm on the cord for a finishing touch.
To add a little depth to the whole card I popped up the purple card stock and the top of the cut out butterfly's wings.
