 | | I was completely honored when Stephanie asked me to provide a card sample for this week's inspiration challenge. I really enjoyed Linda's organic colors and themes in all her pieces. I had a hard time choosing just one, but I finally settled on the Glasshopper fused glass piece. I loved the colors in the piece and those whimsical daisies.
Unfortunately, the lighting for my photograph left a lot to be desired, so the colors aren't showing up quite as they are in real life. I stamped the wood grain background in forest moss distress ink, and the flower die cuts are edged with crushed olive distress ink. The banner was sponged with tea dye and then the sentiment stamped with vintage photo.
The sketch is from the 2011 summer card camp online class that just finished up this week. I really liked the sketch and can see myself using it a lot in the future. |
