This is for Wendy's very clever Ways to Use It challenge Two by Two!
If this card is any indication how the rest of my day is going to go...I could be in trouble!! I used my stamp-a-ma-jig so that my sentiment at the bottom would be perfectly aligned. The card is in line with my grid, the stamp-a-ma-jig is in place, the stamp is inked and voila! SENTIMENT IS SLANTED. uuuuuggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I wasn't about to start over because I already spent way to much time folding the little dsp thingy behind my ribbon treatment. Ever try to fold paper on the 1/8th inch score? Don't bother! LOL
Anyway, my images from Heartfelt Thanks were inked in Blush Blossom (oh, I miss that color), Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzaz and Limeade. DSP is from Paisley Petals. Victoria Crochet Trim layered with Taffeta Ribbon. Simple enough!
Thanks for taking a peek! Look forward to reading your comments and I'll leave mine tonight. Have a great Friday! Stay cool if your in a HOT zone like me today!!

Oh, Robin, this caught my eye immediately....it's beautiful! I didn't even notice it was cattywampus (term we use in quilting - ha-ha) until you mentioned! It's lovely, and I LOVE the folded DP! Perfect card! I agree with Leisa...one of my favorite sets! Now this goes into my fave!

I don't see the slant you described - I just see a beautifully designed card! I LOVE how you split the sentiment and put that crinkled panel between it! This is gorgeous!!

Pretty card. The sentiment doesn't look slanted. The card is so pretty that if it is, it isn't noticed. The accordian folded paper looks grand! And ... yes I have painfully scored a long strip of paper every 1/8th inch, then folded it. Arrrgghh! Then I bought Tim Holtz' 13" rosette dies and they're great. I think the single, lg one is 1/4" and the smallest, on the second die of two, is 1/8"--hmmm, I'll have to check it. Anyway ... pretty card!
