Our daughter's closest friend and room-mate is getting married at the end of the month. I loved this Sparkly Heart Garden card in kittie747's gallery (I think I must have half her gallery in my favourites) and thought it would be perfect for a wedding card. Of course that meant I had to buy the wonderful little Double Hearts Punch Around the Page set (Martha Stewart). Cruising the gallery can really be hard on the credit card...
The white portions of the card are from a wonderful pearlescent cardstock pack I found at Joann's when we were in Arizona last November. My daughter designed the wedding invitations for her friend so I had her send me the files she used - I printed one of the files (a purple floral design) onto matte photo paper and used that for the rest of the layers. The stamps on the inside right are by Verve. The verse on the inside left is computer generated and reads as follows:
God gave you each other
so you'd have a hand to hold,
a friend to love and a
deep-down happiness to share.
May the presence of God's love
in your lives continue to shine
beautifully in your love
for one another.
I was pleased at how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by.

Tripzi, I mean Dizzi, this is ASTOUNDING. I love Kitty's blog and gallery too. She comes up with amazing creations. This is an absolute stunner from outside to inside and the verse is wonderful. It's a good thing you made up for your punch count since you've been gone so much on your tripziz!! Hey, your DS will be 27 in January. Isn't that cool? Mine turns 27 Monday, but we're celebrating tomorrow. Hugs!

Wow this is so gorgeous! I love that double heart punch. Being heart crazy as I am, I think I should be adding that punch to my collection don't you;) That purple floral design is beautiful and so is your bouquet of hearts. Wonderful sentiment!

Oooooooh you punch-rocked this CASE! You did Kittie proud! I love this in the soft pearlescent paper...and you *obviously* needed that punch ;). The sentiment is just so sweet and poignant for DD's friend. Now go and rest your punching handz...they deserve some time off!
