For the challenge I used metal button brads, metal golf club image and also colored the flag pole in metal colors.
The edges are ink distressed using Ranger Distress Ink: tea dye on the base, fired brick on the red and designer paper, faded jeans on the blue.
The image is colored with Copic markers:
Bear: E31,25,27,29,37 and blender, Pants: B93,95,97,99, Tongue: R22 over brown, Shirt: R24,27,29,46, Socks, hat and shirt trim:YR12,15, Club: c1,3,5,7, Shoes: 100,W0,3,5, Ear: R20, Grass: G05,07,09,28 Flag: R29,46,89, Pole: C1,3, Trees: G29
The trees in the background are freehand using the brush stroke method.
The golf ball was cute with a ½” punch, embossed with Cuttlebug and Mesh folder and shaded with a C1 Copic marker. It’s mounted to the card on a foam pop dot.
The image panel is mounted on foam pop dots and to keep the panel even on the card I punched circles out of the designer paper panel so you see through to the base, then placed my pop dots on the base of the card.
Nestabilities were used to cut the sentiment panel and border. The die I used for the border is longer than what is needed so I cut out the die and embossed one end. Slide the cardstock so one end is over the cutting blade to your desired length and cut the end and emboss only that end so you donÂ’t get unwanted lines on the opposite end.
Accessories: Making Memories button brads, foam pop dots, Copics, Tools: Nestabilities, 1/2" punch, Cuttlebug and Mesh folder, SU mat pack and Bazzill piercer for brads holes, sponge
