Great rockin challenge! Heavy metal can mean everything from ships to garbage cans to wire-framed eyeglasses. When I think of metal I think of music and some of my fav bands. Alice in Chains is among them. As soon as I thought of them, I pictured the basic card I wanted to make, complete with a little play on words.
I lucked out AGAIN and found this awesome clip art promotional poster, which shows Alice w/an electric guitar and the Queen of Hearts singing back up! I could not believe how perfect the image was for what I had in mind! I tried to keep the card simple and heavy ... no frills or "clutter."
Thanks for looking!
Rock on stampers!
I trimmed to fit ,an ancient, green ,polka-dotted, chipboard frame. From the white backside, I took off the dimensionals, scraped off the residue with Tim's scissor blade, and inked it with Ranger distress black soot. Let it dry for a bit. Framed and trimmed image to fit. Adhered with Tombo glue to back of chipboard. My metal glue was dried up in the tube (guess that happens when you don't use it for three yrs!) so I applied sticky stirip around the frame. I applied the chain and set it aside. Same procedure on chipboard title frame. I distressed it with Ranger distress black soot, then aged mahogany. Glued to frame w/Tombo adhesive, added thick dimensionals, set aside. Tore piece of DCWV flat metal paper, attached to card. Attached framed image and title. Smiled, took picture, then uploaded.

LOL...you took the "heavy metal" theme literally and came up with such a creative, fun card!
