Color blocking looked like so much fun...and it was! I used reinkers drops on a block, swirled them around with spritzes of water, then laid glossy paper over the block. Blew it dry, then stamped images.

I had this piece of craft paper that I had tried to use to achieve an effect for another card awhile back and ended up with just a quarter of the craft sheet with dry embossing. Never used it but thought craft paper was a good background for my color block.

Your background is lovely - it almost looks like a watercolour wash. The partially embossed background is also a great choice.
