Joan's challenge today is to color block and I had a great time with it and a few bargains I got this weekend.
The doily is created with an MS punch around the page which Lisa (Ashdale) forced me to buy. Luckily I had a 50% off coupon. To create the color block in the center of it, I used Copic markers on an Acrylic square and spritzed with alcholol before stamping. I then stamped the sentiment over the top of that. I Kittified it with the spray of leaves and flowers and the ribbon bud which was another bargain. I got 6 for $.50! It was vanilla, but I airbrushed it with the Copic markers. I added a little peach colored organdy ribbon and some tiny blooms which are punched. The 5" square card front is Coordinations embossed with a Cuttlebug border around all four sides and sanded.
Thanks for looking!

Your card turned out really pretty Karen!! I like the soft look you got when you sprayed your copic marker. Nice job on getting some good toys for a good price. That always makes it twice as fun.

Oh this is lovely. I love the soft coloring in your finished card with coloring and then spritzing your acrylic block. I am going to have to try it this way next time. TFS.
