After several years of not doing any scrapbook pages, the girls at the monthly crop bet me that I couldn't come and make some scrapbook pages (I always make cards instead). I actually finished 6 pages (without any titles or journalling yet so they really aren't totally done).
My DD is the silly one in the center.
I realized that the best way for my to do a scrapbook page is to pretend it is a card. Worked perfectly for me.

Nancy, Your DD is adorable and has the cutest and such silly friends. Great to see teenage girls just having fun and being themselves :-) Great scrapbook page too. TFS

You did what I need to do!!! Hooray to you for getting some pages done. What a fun picture too! I like the punched lattice border and the leaves and butterflies. It gives this picture a beautiful backgroud. Just superb!

What a great approach to your scrapbook layout (I mean, pretending it's a card!) This turned out really cute. Good for you for scrapping again!

Oh, that 'pretend' game worked so well, Nancy. Love your page and your daughter is beautiful, as well as the other girls. What fun they are having. Oh, to be that age again.

OK...you are the most insightful person ever. I love the mindset and will get way more done that way! This is such a pretty card/page layout, love your DP and all of the punched goodies. Very nicely done. OBTW - this photo is just priceless and deserves preservation for your future grandchildren if for no other reason ;) Absolutely delightful in every way!

Nancy Wms! OMGosh! Your baby is gorgeous and this photo is a keepsake! I love it! You have captured the essence of *Fun* (on the infinity level, no doubt!) Your layout is so perfect- not so much as to take away form the photo, but framing it beautifully! (I could go on, but I gotta make some furniture right now....) LYMIMIMIMIMIMIMI
