For the second time we have gathered together for a potluck and shoebox swap for our downline members who are not attending SU convention. Here are the glorious creations we made last night. Yea for us, making the best of it. A good time was had by all.
This is my offering, CASING a lovely card by Michelle Zindorf. My version uses blues w black accents and evergreen trees. The snow is masked first, with the sky sponged first in Baja Breeze with the darker Indigo at the horizon. The background trees are stamped before removing the mask. Once the mask is off the sledding children are stamped in black and the reflection made by stamping the same image onto acetate and pressing that beneath the images. I sprayed Glimmer Mist onto the snow. The pine tree in the foreground is stamped last.
Behind the image panel is another white panel edged in chunky MS snowy glitter.
Hope you like my Christmas in July card. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
