This is my first MFT sketch challenge card! I love their products and have mostly the darling PI stamps and some dies. I make buttons using recycled packing material, Ranger distress ink and natural twine/jute. Since the F4A was to use a little twine or a lotta twine, and they fit right in on this distressed card, I thought I'd use them.
How I did it: Michael's black card base, Hob Lob kraft, vintage music printed and distressed, PTI black, more distressed kraft, Michael's cream c.s. for panel and sentiment tab/label. I made the teeny flowers from SU c.s. Crimped a zillion x to break down, separated layers, put together with brad, fluffed up, distressed w/Ranger ink. PTI sentiment + die. Used three inks to grungy my vintage lace. Handmade buttons. Strips across card are recycled black netting. (Leftover from Get Well card that's in my gallery.) Image is MFT PI Miss You. Water colored w/SU markers + blender pen. Tried to add texture to dress; I think all it did was "streak" it a little. Oh, well. I'll use a better quality c.s. or watercolor paper next time. The colors will then probably saturate more evenly. Think that's it.
Thanks for looking!
