I am shamelessly posting this for two challenges to get as many views as possible. This is for a card drive for an injured Marine Sargent, Josh Yarbrough. You can read his story here: http://sgtyarbrough.blogspot.com/
I do not know this young man, but I could. Any of us could...
I colored this image on Monday for Josh, not knowing quite how to work it into a card. Saw the color challenge and Roxie's wonderful sketch this morning and knew that both would be perfect for this card. PT - 1
Thank you so much for looking. Rather than taking the time to comment, please go to your stash or make a quick card to send to Sgt. Yarbrough and have a peaceful day.

Well, I'm going to comment even though you're sending me off to 'do time' in my Rubber Room. This is positively wonderful Marie. You've done a fabulous job on the image - it works perfectly on this sketch. Awesome card! WTG.

This is so beautiful and a wonderful idea. I am already working on some cards for Joshua, hoping to send one every day this week! Thanks for sharing, Marie.

This is a gorgeous card and I am sure that Josh will be pleased to receive it! I love how you used the colors of the week and the pickup truck is a perfect image to use for it.

Ok girlfriend don't make me cry. As a Mother of two boys myself age 18 and 25 we can relate. Your card is just gorgeous. I love how you colored the truck. The framing layers look awesome and the embossing is perfect. What a great looking card! I will be sending one too! We need more stories about our heros in the news and on the internet instead of (I won't mention her name) junk and drama!!!

What a sweet way to send positive words to an injured soldier! My husband was in the navy for over 26 years, and although he never was hurt, I can sympathize with his family. I wrote his address down to send a card. Thank you, and your card is wonderful!
