Southwestern Sympathy

Photo Details
Poster: Chipchick

I love this angel and this sympathy verse and given that it is a Native American saying and a Native American angel, they seem a perfect match.

I used a yellowy color paper that coordinated very well with More Mustard, which is what I used for the angel. Then I overstamped the verse using black. I cut out the black mat with deckle edges. I used the smooth side of the yellowy paper for the angel and then the textured side for the bottom mat.

Your creation is truly the most beautiful sympathy card I have ever seen. I love images of angels, but sometimes the face isn't "right". This angel's face is very serene. The verse is so beautiful and true. I also like your color choices. They really add to the peacefulness of your card. Simply gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

This really caught my eye in your gallery. Truly a perfect, serene sympathy card. This is sure to touch the heart of someone who lost a loved one.
