I am three teaparties late! That is the latest I have ever been! I couldn't wait to do this card. It is going to Nathan (the husband of fellow SCS -Steffers) who is a new father and also facing some serious treatment for leukemia. He loves sports and this week's teaparty involves golf. I have absolutely no golf stuff. I went to LSCs and couldn't find anything I liked. So I had to improvise.
Meet Horace. He is the caddy for Sir Golfslott, III. I know he has a gun but you really need a gun when you are out in a large amount of grass and bushes and ponds because there could be snakes. My DH carries a gun all around when he is out by our pond just in case one of those pesky critters comes out to play.
Seems Sir Golfsalot, III has lost that little golf ball. They are looking all over for it when it is right behind them of course. Isn't that always the case when you are looking for something?

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but this guy bears a very strong likeness to Bill Murray in Caddy Shack....He's carryin' a gun to get those gophers.....lol! What an adorable card! Love it, Nancy!

Horace and Sir Golfsalot III must be on the safari course, what with Horace packin' and all! I like the way your imagination went with this challenge and no golf supplies at all!! The way you have done up this great "manly" image is super and works with your story!! Thank goodness Horace isn't a plumber!!
Maybe they'll find the ball... maybe not!

Bwhahaha! Now I have been talkin' about being in the rough.....and sometimes one gets in the rougher rough....but it seems Golfsalot and his caddy are in the roughest of the rougher rough rough roughest rough!! You know, like where you need a gun! Snort! OMG! I love how you improvised! Hey, golfing, hunting, pretty one in the same to me! Hunting for something all day long.....the only difference is the shape of the prey and whether or not it bites back!
Whoot! I love this for Nathan ~ Manny......what fun!
