Finally managed to find a little 'stamping mojo' hiding in my "Rubber Room". I was starting to think it had 'jumped ship' when we were in Mexico. I love the QFTD challenge here on Splitcoast and have fallen way behind in making cards to honour our Queens - today I've actually managed to create two QFTD cards!
Last week our QFTD was fellow Punchkateer Nancy aka nwilliams6 aka Nutzi. She's a sweetheart and very accomplished cardmaker!
I had no problems deciding which card to CASE - I went into my Rubber Room and there was this wonderful birthday card Nancy had sent to me!
Kept her layout, changed the colours, the paper, made the sentiment layer a bit smaller. Instead the pearly swirl I sprayed shimmer paint mist and added dazzling diamonds and a butterfly. I am still sparkling! Used my MS hydrangea punches and pine branch punch for the flower in the corner.
Congrats on your reign as QFTD Nutzi!

This is gorgeous. From the colors, to the Designer Paper, to the die cuts. Very beautiful and it has lots of eye appeal. What a great way to honor Nancy!

Wow! Izzy, this is over the top gorgeous! I love that designer paper and the colors are just yummy. Are you telling me there is a punch you won't be waiting by the mailbox for??? I can't believe it. I also cannot imagine you are having that 'not so nice' weather. It was at least 97 degrees here today. Of course, the humidity could be felt indoors...just horrible. But, I still love summer.

I love it!!!!! I especially love that flower - I am going to try one as soon as I can get in my stamp room again. I really like that dp and the colors you used as well. This is a winner for sure. I am so glad your Mojo came back and you are back in "the fold." I can see some Mexican Mojo in this card - those colors are very Mexican from what I remember. I am so thrilled you cased your birthday card - that is sooo great!!! Hugz!
