What a site Stef has taken us to today!! So much to choose from that I closed my eyes on the home page, wiggled my mouse & chose the Combo Platter the cursor was next to!! From that page I chose this 70's Caramel It Girl Bag seen here: http://www.poshvintage.com/prod_one....ow1=0&isspan=1
I also searched the internet for a different faux leather tutorial & found this one: http://www.stampinatmidnight.com/tutorials/
I don't know if she is activily stamping as the last post was in March. I had hoped to let her know I used her tutorial but was not successful. It was easy-peasy.
I used Cajun Craze & inked DTP w/ Versamark for a more aged look. My black layers are faux too, using a black sharpie marker & ruler. This is a trick I learned from Dawn Lusk, DawnL. I thought it looked a bit plain since I don't do any stitching, so I added these black half pearls from Want 2 Scrap. They were 99c/sheet at the Akron Convention! I purchased 10 sheets!
I will be off to another week of camp nursing tomorrow so will be MIA.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

You certainly got a fantastic leather look - sounds easier too than working the piece of card till you can pull it in half.
It also sounds like a great way of choosing what to be inspired by, LOL - but I'd be worried about sticking my cursor on something that totally didn't inspire me at all.
