I'm am still so lovin these inspiration challenges. They just light my fire! Posh is amazing. Again, I picked six or eight things but opted (for my first card anyway--heehee) to create a card based on this Italian made, Florentine Trompe L 'oeil box.
Here's how I made it: Stamps MS. Blue flower double stamped in SU ink. Pink flowers stamped SU ink and watercolored. Took me a while but I found the fab decorative frame and printed on computer. Masked inside of frame. Stamped SU linen bg stamp in Ranger distress tea dye. Stamped area several times in lightly inked, stamped off, or just partially inked to get the variation in appearance. Distressed edges w/decorative edge ruler and Tim's distress tool. Lightly sponged other spaces with faint tea dye. SU vine, added some darker lines w/SU marker. Flowers added w/SU dimensionals. Mounted finished panel on PTI brown c.s. Tied crinkle ribbon around (I know my bows suck--I keep trying but I seem to always end up with one section of unruly, crinkled ribbon. I forget to use a glue dot.) Mounted on PTI raspberry fizz card base.
I liked my stamped bg and flowers so I took a second close up pic for whoever all to see.
