I didn't have any doilies, but I had a lace curtain that I cut a circle out and it looks kinda like a doily. The lilacs are a sneak peek at a Mark's Finest Papers set that will be released next week called LILACS IN THE SUMMER. As I was getting ready to sleep last night, I kept seeing these lilacs with cracked glass technique. So I had to do that today. I think with the doilies and the cracked glass that it has a vintage feel. The hymn, I printed on my computer. It is one of my favorites... GOD will take care of you. I am sending this card to a friend who could use a reminder about God's care!

Beautiful creation.....I had to smile about the lace curtain. I hope it wasn't hanging up. LOL People can't say we stampers aren't creative. Getting back to your lovely card. I like the cracked glass and your background paper. Your curtain made a wonderful doily. tfs

Your card is beautiful!! I love the cracked glass technique. I also love what the sheet music says, "God will take care of you." That is a wonderful assuring statement that I needed to hear.

Great idea for use of the doily! (I had to think out of the box, too) It all looks lovely, the stitching, the lace, the colors and that beautiful butterfly!
