I used a heavy cardstock weight vellum and embossed the doilies on it in white. Pool Party base and frame cut from new SU Pennants Sizzix die. Sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess set) punched with scallop circle. Taffeta ribbon in Whisper White with half pearls to complete.
I used the adhesive on the white stamped parts of the vellum to conceal the best I could.

Your doily background is so delicate and pretty stamped on the vellum. I know what you mean about vellum and adhesives. I don't know how many adhesives I've bought recommended to not show through vellum and the only thing that works is to hide it under stamped or embellished parts.

Wow, do I ever love that color - I take it that it's a new SU one! Beautiful idea to emboss your doilies in white on vellum, it's a soft, gorgeous look!
