What is more feminine than lilacs and lace? The image is from a new set being released next week. This card uses the lilacs in a very subtle manner. I stamped the lilacs onto white card stock and watercolored the image before cutting it out. The card front has a "flap" of the doily peeking over the top. The white card front also has the lower corners covered with a scrap of the doily before embossing the full card front with Textile Textures and matting with lilac card stock. I added a bow of seam binding which was dyed to match the image.

Your card is absolutely beautiful! It takes me back to the days when my grandmother and great aunts would crochet on the porch to get the doilies ready for starching. Any form of purple is my mother's favorite color. Thanks for the memories.

I guess we both just were thinking along the same lines (Title wise). You might want to change your keyword lilacsinthesummerNfp to Mfp. I love how subtle your lilacs look. Such a vintage look! That bow is stunning!
