My CC329 color challenge using Soft Suede, Melon Mambo and Crumbcake (dessert...butterflies) combined with our new Queen For the Day.....nwilliams6 :-) Nancy is such a creative stamper and a really special friend :-) Congratulations Nancy and enjoy your extra special week.
I knew I wanted to use the CC color combo and which card from Nancy's creative gallery I wanted to CASE. That was easy, but I just could not quite pull off Nancy's big blingy flower, so I Dry EB the Soft Suede Elegant Soiree' DSP in the Elegant Lines EB folder for a flowery effect. Added lots of 1/2 pearls and Heat EB using Clear EB powder the butterfly after coloring with markers and covering with Versamark. All that for bling. I then cut out and popped up the butterfly. BTW, the butterfly and scallop newsprint is from the "First Edition" Specialty DP in the new catty.
A card made with NO stamping....that does not happen often !
P.S. Thanks Pat for the heads up that this card qualifies for this months DD CTO611 "printed text" challenge.
Thanks again Betty and Trish for the challenges and Nancy for all your inspiration and sweetness :-)
Happy 4th of July to all.......

Beautiful card, Nancy! Vibrant colors. I am so impressed with the way you enhanced the swirls, then used half pearls to follow the same graceful curves and punctuate. Inspired!

Oooooo so pretty! I love that you used the butterfly on the dsp. I also really like the distressing you did on the embossed cs...looks fabulous embellished with the pearls too.

Nancy, this is a beautiful case of Nancy. Such elegance! Those embossed swirls are wonderful. (Your card is also perfect for the DD's CT0611 this month) Your butterfly is so pretty!
