What a cute kids site! I was influenced at first by this Personalized Prince wall hanging. I liked the colors and little frog. When I started putting things together, it sort of evolved into this little scene.
All images are DRS Designs. This little cutie looked so much like I imagine Huck Finn would look, that I had to give him red hair and freckles. After I colored him w/ markers and cut him out, I wondered how it would look if I had him seated on a stone ledge. So I folded him a little and I think it turned out pretty good.
The stone ledge was made w/ part of of a stonewall image and the house was made by embossing the distressed lines then using a gray marker under the lines. I used square dies to make the window frame and part of a scallop square die to make the window valance. I made the little background scene then attached the house and Huck along with the greeting and little frogs. The finished card measures 5.5 x 4.25.

Julie~ I think it turned out pretty good too! Actually, I think it turned out great! So ingenious how you have lil' Huck sittin' on the ledge! The froggies are just too cute! I have never seen a window like that, it is amazing, how you pieced it all together there. Wonderful card!

Having three boys, this one hits home! So neat! Love the way you have him sitting! Very original~ Love that background it does remind me of Huck Finn and the clapboard white house in Hannibal, Mo!
