Hooray for Queen Nancy (nwilliams6), someone with a wonderful gallery and who always leaves such nice comments. I learned a new technique this weekend and wanted to find a card in her gallery on which I could use it. Nancy's Cattails and Butterfly seemed to be the one. The technique was the glitter across the bottom. You punch the border, then put wide tearable tape behind it and sprinkle the glitter. After removing the paper backing, the glitter looks so pretty as part of the border. Instead of the cattails, I stamped a birthday sentiment from MFP Flourishes and Frame. You can never have too many birthday cards!

Lois, this is a great card and I love that technique. I have bottles and bottles of every color of glitter and never have even used any of it on a card... Maybe I will give it a shot....

Lois - that glitter technique is awesome - I love it and want to try it as soon as possible. You so eclipsed my card in every way - what an honor! Thanks for all your sweet comments and all the inspiration you give me!
