For the challenge we are using something older than six months: solid cardstocks, all die cuts and punches, and something newer than six months: red designer paper, tree image.
The image is stamped cut apart into four sections, scored and folded, debossed on the edges with a metal ball stylus and glued to the card. You can choose how much dimension is given to the tree by the space between the sides that get attached to the card. I wanted this one to really show dimension for the customers that will view it at the trade shows.
It was fun to decorate with the Cuttlebug stars and circles which I glued to the card. Tiny Tags is the die used to cut the circles and Snowflakes 2 for the stars. I placed larger punched circles or scrap over the shape I want and run through the machine, great way to use up all the glitter paper that cost extra cash!
The scallops across the card and oval are cut with Spellbinder Nestabilities.
The scoring on the white was done with Martha Stewart scor board.
The snowflakes are cut from an EK Success border punch, I cut a ½ strip and insert in the punch under the desired shape, another great way to put scrap paper to work.
