First of all, thank you for this wonderful sketch challenge...complete with dimensions for all pieces! What a time saver! This was an awesome design with two options...I went for the square card. I say card, but I actually am going to use this as a wall hanging in my craft room! This is a little something to pay tribute to my little crafting buddy! He is my constant shadow, staying up with me til all hours of the night. He is almost 8 years old now and getting a little grey but that is just fine....adds a little character, in my opinion! I found this stamp a couple of years ago and just had to have it because it was a perfect replica of my boy! I used masculine feeling papers but added a little handcut flower for his "mama". Really had alot of fun with this and now I can't wait to go find a little shadowbox frame to put this in! So here is my little guy....Baxter!

What a wonderful tribute to Baxter! His mommy is awesome!! You did a fantastic job with your card/picture. The colors are great and the flower for mommy is a nice touch! TFS

What a beautiful dog image, and this is certainly well worth keeping on your wall. It looks like a framed picture already with those photo corners - a shadow box to display it will the perfect addition.

Wow - Katie this is amazing! Your tribute to Baxter is in and of itself extraordinary, but all of the detail and gorgeous colors make this very frame-worthy! I love everything about this card, but most of all that you are sharing more of your work with us. Wonderful work, my friend!

What a wonderful tribute to your dear Baxter. He is a handsome dog. I'm glad you are going to frame it since it certainly deserves it! Your combination of colors, patterns and accents all beg for lingering inspection. Love the old-fashioned photo corners. This is really spectacular!....and what a lovely stamping companion you have. : )
