This is for my BIL's birthday--hoping he'll remember a wonderful sunset we had the pleasure of viewing while in Sitka, Alaska! The image was inked with versamark and soft suede, stamped and embossed with clear ep. I made a circle mask for the sun, first using the reverse and sponging on some crumb cake, then masked the sun and sponged on melon mambo, going from a light application at the top and getting darker towards the bottom. I added some tangerine tango, as it needed something besides the pink, removed the mask and put a touch of tangerine there, too. The piece was cut with the Nestabilities curved rectangles and I cut a partial piece of soft suede for the bottom portion. Stamped the PTI Daydreamer sentiment, added the SU taffeta ribbon and a few Kaiser rhinestones and placed it on a kraft card base. I saw some beautiful examples, with a similar technique on a *Case Study* website. Here's the link if you're interested. http://casestudychallenge.blogspot.com/

Very pretty sunset card, love the way that you used the challenge colors. Your bling placement is very cool...adds a very interesting anchor to the image.
