Inspired by the challenge presented by Tater to the Twisted Sister's to make a 4x6 recipe card, I used to get the juices flowing.
My recipe is a family favorite, and this image by Art Impressions is among my favs. He is colored with copics, and was masked to add the script from SU's Rustic Rooster for the bg. Using my "chicken foot" stitch, I sewed around the edges of my recipe card and added a tag with black gingham. I made a pocket card to give my Dixie Fryer a place to park.
Here's my recipe:
Fried Schicken?
Land sakes alive! Can't believe I am here...
Six frozen chicken breasts
2 cups flour
2 T Granulated Garlic
2 T Montreal Steak Seasoning
2 T New Orleans Style Cajun Seasoning
2 Cups Olive Oil
Mix dry ingredients, coat chicken and fry 40 mins. on Med-Low til golden brown on all sides. Tastes like....uh...CHICKEN

Now how cute is this? Really cute. I love how you made your card and the card holder. You really got fancy. Love the chicken feet stitches. Super cute.

Pat,
Jim (DH) is a fried chicken fanatic! Every time he sees a new recipe for fried chicken - he has to try it. I can't wait to show him this - he will be doing a happy dance. It does sound extra yummy I must say! And, it's a gorgeous recipe card and jacket - wow! I do love Foghorn Leghorn!
