Here is my creation for my honey for Father's Day this year. I am on a roll with these masculine cards. I used this image from Moose Creek Crossing...colored with copics, a bit of Diamond Glaze on the waders and a tiny bit of glitter on the water and larger sized fish. I did a little stitching around the center panel and put a few brads in the corner. I then decided that it needed a few leaves so I punched out the leaves using my new Fiskars leaf punch and then colored the leaves with Copics. I used a scallop scissors to make the waves and dry embossed with the CB mesh folder. For the side panels I used a new technique I learned from my SU demo using the SU border punch. I really enjoyed making this card, but am now ready to make some feminine cards...stay tuned for some butterflies, flourishes and foo-foo. (:>) TFL and have a great day!

LOVE this card! All the elements on it are great. What really popped for me are the side panels with the DU punch detail...can you tell us how you did that PLEASE! I love this punch and use it a lot but never saw this technique done before...explanation of "how to" would be so appreciated. THANK YOU for sharing such a wonderful work of art!
