So I still had the colors out from yesterday's color challenge and I had this flower already made so I thought I'd put together a card using today's sketch. I also thought the pleated paper technique that was shared today would be perfect for this sketch. I started by making the pleated paper and sponged the edges of the pleats for more definition then added a 1/8" ribbon. For the image panel, I inked the Distressed Texturz plate with Chocolate Chip then embossed a piece of Choc chip paper and cut out the middle to make a frame. The back panel is also embossed then I cut out a stem and leaves and sponged the edges. The butterfly is die cut and sponged (I needed to cover a flaw in my flower!). I popped the frame with dimensionals to mount it over the pleated dp, added a punched sentiment and was done!

What a wonderful "nature" card. I can almost feel the bark. Love the mottled effect you got on the center of your flower. The pleated paper border is so well done....love it!
