The idea for this card popped into my head as I was trying to fall asleep last Monday night, in response to the CAS challenge for the week of June 6. I finally got it all out in cardstock and designer paper this weekend.
The animals are stamped onto scraps of Basic Grey designer paper and the cow's spots are paper pieced. The cow, the lamb, and the front row of grass are attached with pop dots to give some dimension to the card. The clouds were made using the chalkboard technique and reverse masking. I made the grass by snipping into the edge of the green cardstocks with my Cutterbee scissors. The sentiment is computer generated, using a font called Chinacat.
I have to admit I wish there were a goat stamp in this Lawn Fawn farm set. That would have tied in perfectly with the "kid" in the sentiment!
As always, comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for taking a closer look at my card!
