At first glance this card does not look like it is inspired by this stained glass http://www.dmstainedglass.com/galler.../carpensis.htm
but I will explain.
I really wanted to make a butterfly card for someones B.D.. There was no butterfly stainglass art to be found. I saw this fish & thought I could use the elements from it to create portions of my card.
Fish = Butterfly
Scales = Scallop Edge
Big Eye = Button
Colors = dp
Corals = Flowers
Neutral Corals on bottom left side = Base card color
Scale shimmer = Butterfly sparkle

Great job of translating the fish glass panel into a card to fit your needs for a b'day card! It is a lovely card and I'm sure your friend will love it. I like how you explained your transition to paper.

You are one very creative mind! Love your interpretation of the different glass pieces! Especially love the scallops/scales, button/eye and dp/colors! Every bit of this is amazing!
