As I was pulling the elements together for this card, my friend emailed me this quote..."Sometimes you'll never know the true value of a moment, until it becomes a memory." I couldn't find the original author to give credit to. I printed it with my computer. This is for 2 challenges this week's Stampin' B's challenge to make a masculine card with brown, black and one other color. I used a lot of different brown scraps and my extra color is orange. The criss-crossing of the browns on the base is similar to the criss-crossed panels in yesterday's sketch challenge. The images are a sneak peak at a soon to be released set by Mark's Finest Papers called All Aboard. The train station in this set looks a lot like the train station in my town, that individuals are raising money to restore. The second challenge is this week's die cut challenge. I only have flowers and label 4 nestabilites. So I went with the nestabilities on the rail-road crossing panel. I stitched the panels and orange fiber using my sewing machine. The little ticket in the corner, I cut a rectangle of brown dp and used my circle punch to make the corners and I doodled with a pen around the edges.
