1st brayer BG - a CASE of me!

well, finally sat down with my new brayer Yeah! : )... i started by making the hill with post it notes and then thought i would start with daffodil ink...and before you know it, it looked very similar to the sponged background i did for VSN. ( http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=240861 ). i just naturally seemed to go for those colours! so similar that i think my husband wondered WHY i had to get a brayer!.. it just kinda worked out that way! i wanted to put a stamp on it at the end it looked a bit empty but i didnt to ruin it, and i dont have many suitable stamps (YET!). then i used the sentiment instead. i embossed it quite a few time to get it nice and thick - sort of cracked glass without cracking it! ..still kinda empty, but c'est la vie!

thanks yellowrose46 for your hints!

...i might be brave and start with a different colour next time ; )

sorry about the shocking photo quality but isnt it nice i could share the remnants of our sunday breakfast with you in fine, focussed, detail ; )

all my cards are sold to raise money for the A21 campaign against slavery.

This is lovely! Your colors are getting blended nicely! Love the mountian feature.
